Welcome to our SECOND SESSION of this RTW Tribe. These sessions will be run quarterly and involve guest speakers on topics relating to the Victorian WorkCover scheme. More importantly, these sessions are designed for YOU. We also have plenty of networking opportunities to share stories and talk about challenges with your peers.
We are proud to have Kristel Dutton join us in this second exclusive session. Together, this session will cover all things related to eligibility, including:
· How we can best manage aggravation and reasonable management action claims
· What “out of and in the course of employment” is actually about
· How “wholly and predominately” are defined and used.
Kristel has worked at various WorkCover Agents since August 2001. She has taken on roles in almost every position available within the WorkCover industry over this time. These positions include LTM and MDM Case Manager, Customer Service Relationship Manager, Technical Manager, Dispute Resolution Manager, before spending the last 8 years as the Team Manager of Eligibility at Allianz, and then Gallagher Bassett.
Wow, talk about range! In 2019, Kristel moved to a private employer, working for a Circumstance Investigation company. Kristel has extensive technical knowledge about scheme needs, and how to exploit better outcomes by upskilling investigators and ensuring technically proficient investigations.
It’s safe to say that Kristel and our Team have experienced this system!
